Guided by the client’s traditional style and desire for a calm, peaceful retreat, the design introduces a soft palette of whites and light grays that brightens the room and visually expands the footprint. Large-format floor tile enhances this spacious feel, while dark espresso cabinetry provides an elegant contrast and a sense of grounding warmth.

A significant improvement to the layout allowed the shower to be enlarged, creating a more comfortable and usable space. The shower features a striking accent tile wall as its focal point, complemented by aging-in-place elements including discreetly integrated grab bars and a built-in bench for added safety and convenience. Polished chrome fixtures in classic silhouettes offer a subtle nod to the home’s historic character, while a modern LED mirror brings a fresh, functional update.
